Gravity Golf might seem similar to Mini Golf'Oid, but in fact they are very different internally. Amongst key differences is the rendering system. In Mini Golf'Oid it was pure 2D/Canvas based, whereas for Gravity Golf I initially choosed to go with OpenGL-ES, as this game had more specific performance requirements. This was an error.

A big thank to all of you that were present to our wedding, it was only joy and hapinness. Hollydays in Croatia were great, and now it's time to get back home.

I have recently published my first Android application "Marine Compass", just for fun. As its name suggest, this is a simple marine compass, but in 3D and driven by accelerometers and the magnetometer : move your phone in all positions, and the compass will always stay parallel to the floor ! It is free to download on the Android Market, and wait... there is more : it is open source (Apache license).

This server has recently been refreshed with a brand new Debian Lenny setup. Valiant LFS has made its time, and is now replaced by a set of Xen virtual machines. Installation and configuration went smooth, and this gives the comfortable feeling that everything is rock solid. There was only one issue with Serendipity, which requires some «tuning» in order to work as a shared installation.
